At the Marta Kostyuk Foundation, we believe sport isn’t just a game — it’s a lifeline. A way to heal, to grow, and to believe in something greater.

Why Now?

Thousands of Ukrainian children are living through the trauma of war. Young people are still facing deep emotional and psychological challenges every day.

Right now, they need steady support — not just to get through today, but to rebuild their confidence and sense of well-being for the long run.

At the Marta Kostyuk Foundation, we use tennis as a tool for healing and growth, helping kids find:

Our Mission

Founded by professional tennis player Marta Kostyuk, our Foundation is dedicated to making tennis accessible to all young Ukrainians — especially those most affected by war and crisis.

We imagine a future where tennis is a sport for everyone in Ukraine — building physical health, personal growth, and academic opportunity, with strong community support.

Here’s what we do:

• Bring tennis programs to public schools
• Provide affordable gear and trained coaches
• Offer scholarships to aspiring athletes
• Run multimedia campaigns to inspire a new generation

What We're Raising Funds For

We’re raising funds to bring our “School Match Point” project in 15 more schools across Ukraine.

Fundraising goal: £16,000

Each school will receive:

• Tennis kits for 30 children — rackets, balls, and gear for any space 
• Professional training for PE teachers and local coaches
• A full program curriculum with ongoing support
• Youth-focused content to encourage participation and inclusion

Your support will help thousands more children — many displaced or living in under-resourced communities — access structured physical activity, emotional growth, and a chance to rebuild their futures through sport.

The Impact of Your Gift

Your donation will help:

• Give kids the tools they need to play, learn, and grow
• Bring the “School Match Point” project to new regions across Ukraine
• Support local teachers and coaches on the ground
• Fund media projects and educational projects
• Help the Foundation grow and adapt on a national scale 

By 2030, we aim to reach over 150,000 youth across Ukraine through our programs and to inspire 10 million more through stories, school partnerships, and mentorship.

We are proud to partner with United Way UK, a registered UK charity. This means that UK-based donors can receive tax deductions and, where eligible, Gift Aid.

To help manage this process, United Way UK retains 6% of each donation. This modest fee ensures your contribution is handled legally, securely, and efficiently
